Classic suburban detached house Howth

Classic Suburban detached house residence on coastal road to the Hill of Howth.

This bespoke detached dwelling on this site near the Dublin Bay nn the Hill of Howth in a very upmarket area of this North Dublin village and environs. The design in appearance is a proportioned single dormer bungalow with a pitched hipped roof style incorporating an attic floor with a traditional style design influenced by Alpine chalet architecture. The single storey familyroom with a entertainments room over with balcony had a traditional overhanging gable style roof with open gable screen glazing and glazed rooflights for additional light. The house is set out on site for views and respects the existing views of all neighbouring houses.

The house design is in conformity with the guidelines identified in sustainable housing guidelines for planning authorities. The existing site has ample space for the house to fit and comply with all relevant planning and development standards of the Fingal County Council Development plan updated.

The house design and position was created to complement the neighbouring houses each side and not overlook them or block any views. This house design is far superior in design some of the more dated existing houses in the environs and will compliment similar style houses on the Coastal Road nearby.

There is a longstanding tradition of well proportioned traditional style period house on this Road out to Howth which adds to the elegance of the area without doubt. We wished to compliment this in design terms but create a modern house in terms of construction and environmental efficiency. This is a house for the ages.
