Rural dwellinghouse greenbelt Fingal

Self Build Rural house in North County Dublin in the greenbelt near the Meath countyside.

This. detached  dwelling influenced by modern thinking on rural design,  is two storey with partly single storey bookends in traditional appearance, set well back off the rural road. The house design is in conformity with the guidelines identified in ‘Sustainable Rural Housing Guidelines for Planning Authorities’ issued by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and comply with all relevant planning and development standards of the Fingal Development plan 2017-2023.

 

The site is in Development Zone GB, our client qualifies under rural housing need as he presently resides and works locally. Her parents own the land where the site is located and live nearby. Our client complies with Chapter 5 – Settlement Strategy, table RF01 and RF02 in the new development plan. Eligible for a local needs rural house the project could progress.

 

The site lines analysis is satisfactory and the waste water treatment system and percolation is was designed and installed by specialists, both of whom the Council were familiar with.

 

There is a strong sense of local design style in the area which can be seen in the completed design to the satisfaction of the client in this Self Build Project.
